"Revenge Chicken"
When I told the Seventh Day Adventists' Florida Hospital
(which is strictly vegetarian)
that I was allergic to soybeans,
I expected a steady diet of gruel.
Actually they gave me some tasteless gray chicken.
I think it was meant as revenge chicken.
I asked them if they'd cut the picture off the cardboard container,
and served it to me.
But that would have looked and tasted better.
I thought they had no sense of humor.
Could they have been laughing at me?
